Welcome to NARSC
Welcome to the National Alliance of Retail Ship Centers (NARSC). NARSC is a California Not for Profit Mutual Benefit Corporation.  The association will consist of members from the entire spectrum of the Mail and Parcel industry.

NARSC’s membership will be comprised of independents, franchises, vendors, carriers. We will support the local chapter network and promote grass roots campaigns to promote our common interests and goals. NARSC’s Mission is to provide Advocacy, Education and Information Exchange to its members.

NARSC is currently acting as an advocate of the Mail and Parcel Industry and has been working with United States Postal Service, Transportation Security Administration, and the Department of Transportation to help them recognize the Mail and Parcel Industry. We will continue to grow those relationships for the benefit of our members. In the context of education, we have developed DOT Hazmat Awareness Training at no cost to NARSC members. As we grow there will be more opportunities for industry specific education.

In the capacity of information exchange, we have created NARSCTalk, a yahoo discussion group open to the industry where all members are encouraged to express their opinions and share information. As an item of critical importance and pertaining to safety and hazardous materials awareness and management, we will provide a Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) lookup service that will enable us to look at the DOT/FAA data on packages presented to us for shipping. This will help to ensure that we are not shipping what we shouldn’t.
