SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) - A FedEx delivery man found a remote control contraption with a blinking red light inside a drop-box. The incident happened at 7:30 Monday night near the corner of Market and Texas streets. The worker immediately closed the postal box, called the fire department, and fire fighters blocked off the surrounding streets. The bomb squad used a robot to locate the remote control and eventually detonate the object. No one was injured during the incident and the downtown streets were clear by 10:45 Monday night.
